You don't need a transformer. The wall charger for the BB is capable of handling the current in Malaysia. You will need a UK style plug adapter and then you are good to go. Same for the iPod/iPhone; just look at the wall charger and it should say something like 110-240vAC; that will work everywhere.

Did your BOLD come with a Universal Charger? The one that has many plug adapter types? We use the considerably large 3 pin UK type adapter. usually the 2 round pins work well too. I think in the pack, there are 4 types of adapters. Bring the UK one and you'll be fine.

Else, there are those travel multi-adapter converter types. You'll be fine.

What info do you need for your IPOD?

Tysie82 : WELCOME ( in our local official language is SELAMAT DATANG) to Malaysia. If is your first time here you'd amaze at our different rfaces/cultures living peacefully together. Of couse there are times some racial issues BUT is mainly due to those stupid politicians who always wants to show they are fighting for their own race. One tip when in Msia, beware the taxi drivers who tends to take advantage and overcharge - always insists on the meter

Look at your travel charger for your Bold. If it says Input is 110V to 240V then you're safe, just need a UK plug adaptor. We use 240V here.
