i swapped my bezel on Friday. i did the red snake skin and black bezel, too, but kept all the chrome buttons, tho. i like the bit of contrast. it was an easy swap. i followed the step-by-step found here (thanks, michaelalanjones!):

a few installation notes:
1. step 11 in the above post: my new black bezel came with an unbranded face plate (that goes below the space bar). the post above calls this the "bottom part" and offers instructions to pry the old one off with a screwdriver and clip it into the new bezel. i didn't need to do this step, and kept the black unbranded plate.
2. in the above post, a comment was added from mikadad about a little screen. it is not referred to at all in michaelalanjones' directions. here's what i did to replace it:
remove small black rubber piece on lower right side of old bezel. this covers the tiny oval shaped screen mounted on the bezel. using a paper clip, i carefully poked the small screen away from the old bezel by poking the clip through the tiny hole (for handset microphone?) on the other side, once it was loose, i then used an exacto-type knife as a spatula to lift it off of the old bezel. there was enough adhesive still on the screen to stick it to the new bezel. then when i replaced the small rubber piece on the new bezel, it holds it in place nicely.
no need for photos. mine looks just like mrgm's with all my buttons still chrome.

PS: one final comment: my snake skin cover's snake skin is mounted a little on the diagonal and is not straight "up and down". truthfully, it drove me nuts for about 5 minutes as i fought off my obsessive compulsive tendencies, but i'm over it now. i now notice in mrgm's photos it's the same on his.
i will say the cover is quite nice, the material fits tightly around the corners, it clips more tightly to my BB than my original black one. i'm very happy with cnn's quality.
