If I power off my 9900 (running 7.0.0.296) and then power it on and press any button it causes a reboot. Anyone else see this. I've wiped and reinstalled the OS with no other apps installed and still see this. Even if I wait 5 mins after a successful power on and then press any key it reboots. It's only under the power off/on sequence that this happens. I dont get any random reboots at all. Any thoughts?

Take it back for an exchange. Because it only happens when you hit a particular button it should like a physical problem, not software.

It happens with when I press absolutely any button. Sleep button, vol button, back button, keyboard button. Once it reboots it's fine again. It's only the sequence of Power off, Power on and press absolutely any button which causes the reboot.

Do you think i should still take it back. I thought it might be an OS issue but no one else is reporting it.

After trying both 261 and 317 and seeing the same problem I'm exchanging the device as I'm beginning to think it's hardware related. Thanks for your help ;)

So it's not a device issue it seems to be a sim or network issue. If I use the sim from the network that I bought the phone off of I experience no reboots following a power cycle. If I use either mine or my wifes sim from Three Ireland I end up with a reboot following the power cycle. There's no reboot following a battery pull or a reboot brought on by an app installation. It's only due to the auto shut down/startup or a power off/on cycle. Following the enforce reboot everything is then fine.

the problem only stops me from using the power cycle. So anyone any other thoughts? I've contacted my network on the off chance they may be able/willing to help. Thanks for reading anyway.
