I have had a 7510, 7520, 7500i and now an 8800, all running through BES on my Microsoft Exchange Server. I have about 28 Blackberries attached.

I use Blackberry Messenger a lot, and on all of my past units the messenger conversations stayed under the Messenger icon only. You had to go to Messenger to see them. But on this new 8800, the Messenger conversations can be seen in the regular email messages as well. Mixed in with regular email is a smiley face icon, the contact's name, and the first few words of the IM. Clicking this line jumps out of email messages and over to Blackberry Mesenger.

The problem is, I don't want my IMs mixed in with my regular email! Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Go to BBMessenger, then to the options menu, there's a "Show conversations in message list" option...turn it off.
