Default Appearing Error MM#6

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I am Ramadoss.N. From Chennai India. I am new to this forum. I have BB 9800 and a playbook.
My play book works fine except the micro sim. The play book was purchased in India from eBay. I bought a sim from Vodafone and it was working. Few months I did not use the play book. Suddenly when I switched on the play book. Cellular net work was not working. When I went to the network page I could not switch on to cellular network and there was a message with error code.
" This phone has been blocked and cannot be used on the network MM#6"
When I installed the sim in another phone sim works perfectly alright. My question is " Do I need Data package to be loaded to browse on playbook" ?.
The sim is a prepaid sim, it has sufficient balance on it.
Appreciate anyone's assistance in this respect.
Thanks

Default Re: Appearing Error MM#6

The blocked phone message may be due to the phone being stolen. Call Vodafone and ask. It may be a mistake. Cell carriers don't always block quickly but eventually do.

It may simply be the ID on the phone was typed wrong when the carrier entered it for block.
If it turns out it was a stolen device you may need to try to resolve it via the seller .
