Yeah but I've had every beta of 4.5 and i've never had it before..did I select an app when I restored the main backup that installs this search? I'd like to remove it but I can't figure out which app it was, if any. Do you have more info on it?

It's been on almost all of my more recent 4.5 OS loads.
I don't know exactly what it does, but it harms nothing being hidden.

After all your issues, don't you think it is wise at this point to leave well enough alone for a while?

lol yeah I agree, I'm just saying I've messed with each beta inside and out and I've never seen it before, but whatever I guess. It seems like a utility that isn't necessary so if I could get rid of it, I'm sure it would be fine.

yeah, see there's a new option under messages->options called S/MIME and it has options to do with it I think..I've never seen this before either..I wouldn't know what to do with these options.

You don't have to install that. You can uncheck it application loader with the device connected.

o ok that I realized but I thought it would get rid of Certificate Search as well since they are related but it didn't!

Just hide the certificate search. You don't need it. it's small and doesn't take up hardly any space anyway.
