Default Latest OS 9810 7.1.0.1149 / 7.1.0.342 (All Languages)

Software For BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810 smartphone
This will install on any carrier's 9810 model by following the directions below.
BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.1149 (All Languages)

Package Version: 7.1.0.1149
Consisting of:
Applications: 7.1.0.342
Software Platform: 5.1.0.276
File name: 9810AllLang_PBr7.1.0_rel1149_PL5.1.0.276_A7.1.0.34 2_O2_UK.exe
File size: 258.79MB
Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

Download the OS file here: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...B73B97E1AAA491

Instructions for installing on the 9810:
1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Vista/Win7 users: In the apploader folder, simply click on "Compatibility files" to see the actual Vendor.xml file. Once you've got that - simply delete the vendor.xml file there (even if you've deleted or think you've deleted it in the folder previously) and voila, it will allow you to update to the newly installed OS!
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

The process may take up to 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a black "BlackBerry" screen with a status bar for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again, and it should load the OS to the device.

I have noticed an issue with this update. Particularly the blackberry seems to have an increase in freezing. Where you need to leave it sitting for a few minutes then it'll "catch up with itself". I have also noticed an decrease in battery life and with the increase in freezing that I'm also noticing, I'm suspecting that there is a new memory leak somewhere.

I have not really seen any random issues with freezing in this version of 7.1 beyond the usual slug when installing apps it seems pretty responsive over all in my experience.

I've been running this version for a couple of weeks (but the binary from the provider in Norway instead of the UK). I find it as stable as the beta I was running before. Haven't noticed any issues.

Update on this version. I have cleared the freeze issue, but it seems to handle it's microphone features differently than 7.0 did (I'm unsure in how).

Zello (Zello. Instant talk.) was broken as a result of this upgrade. However, Zello works on all versions of 7.0 it seems.

Talking within Zello's support structure, they said the following:
