This thread and this OS state specifically it is for the 8300. Not the 8320, it won't work.

Hope that helps
I will try that. I check my email through the gmail desktop icon, so I never set up my email through my BB itself because I get annoyed by getting notified all the time when an email comes through. I would rather just check when I want to. I guess that is the problem. I need to set up my email on my BB itself and not via the 3rd party icon. Right?

Just wondering, have just updated, and the compose feature is greyed out. Looks like it works but just discolored same with the saved messges. The video camera asks for a formatted media card, is this refering to a micro sd card?

This is the first 4.5 release I have installed. So far, everything is awesome except that I can no longer Lock the device with "Alt+Enter". Did this key combination change or just get removed?

Thanks in advance!
You have to make sure that "Dial from homescreen is turned off"!!!

So if you can not lock it how do you fight accidental calls form the phone when the phone is pressed against something. If I am understanding correctly, you can not lock the keyboard right?

The quote of mine you posted above is referring to sim locks, not locking the keypad.

No, only the 8300 as the thread title says. There is a separate thread for the 8330.

Does anyone else have issues within the media application and trying to zoom in on pictures? It used to be a very simplistic approach to zooming in/out (press the "i" or "o" key) and now it seems like its "r" and "c"?

Default Lost Ring Tone & Audio Alerts for Email, Calendar, etc.

I have 4.5 installed on my AT&T 8300 BIS Curve.

Everything has been working for two weeks until this weekend.

Ring tone and audio alerts for new email and calendar reminders have stopped working.

I tried sending a new service book.
I tried a battery pull.
Speaker works - checked with an mp3 file.

Should I go back to the 4.2.2 or does anyone know how to fix this issue?

If I do need to go back to 4.2.2, what is be best procedure?

Simply using a TMobile OS won't add MyFaves. You need to edit the BlackBerry.alx file to add the MyFaves. See my Optimize your BB's Memory post (in my signature) on how to do this.

Is your Profile set to "Off" by chance? That will cause all sounds and vibrations to stop.

I haven't used the video record option much since I downloaded 4.5, but when I used it this weekend, it would not zoom in and/or out. It zooms fine on the camera, but not the video. Is this normal?

It's normal. There is no zoom feature for the video camera.
