I need to get a new blackberry, I've been telling myself I should hold out until telus gets a newer model blackberry and not just new to the carrier blackberry. but i've had enough of all the problems i'm having, has anyone heard if telus is getting anything newer than the curve or should i just get the curve? it just seems like a down grade from the 8830 to me though.

Have heard of nothing newer than the Curve for Telus. What's wrong with the Curve? It's definitely not a downgrade except for the loss of the "world edition" GSM feature you have currently.

plus you add a cam with the curve.....whats the "world edition" feat?

World edition is basically what it sounds like - you can use the phone on CDMA or GSM.
