I would love to hear any comments from you all over the next few weeks. I'm reasonably sure my provider, Alltel, is going to follow VZ's lead with a similar device, but this whole 3-year old processor thing has me worried about the long-term prospects of the 8703e. Thanks.

After having the8700c for bout 6 months, the 8703e is a step up, in my opinion. There is much talk of a slower processor, sluggish performance, all negligible from what i have seen in 2 days of use. I wont say im a power user but certainky a "heavy" user to say the least. Aside from the fact that the theme selection is weak, which is a trivial problem, the keyboard is far better than the 8700 and so is the speakerphone, again in my opinion. Pick it up, you wont be disapointe...
