Hi all, i have my new 9900 and all seems good although the 9700 is a hard act to follow for me, one thing is when i put my 9700 in the BB leather wallet i have the screen switched off, i am using the same wallet for the 9900 but it doesn't turn off like the 9700, there is a magnetic strip in the wallet but the 9900 stays on, is there any way of changing this?

The pouches / holsters made for the 9900 work with the 9900. Mine shuts off when I put it in the holster.

Getting the correct wallet - one made for the 9900 - would be the best solution.

Of course it won't work. The 9900 and 9700 case profiles aren't even close to the same. As NJ said, get the correct pouch and you'll have no issue.

Hi all, just received a 9900 side open pouch from a phone shop and to my surprise, screen stays on when i place it in the case, maybe i should use a different case but i like the side ones with the compartment for cards at the back, i know about cards and magnets but have had no probs in two years using one of these with my 9700.

It's either NOT a RIM case, or if it is, it's the wrong case for your phone. An original RIM case for your phone will always shut off the screen when the phone's inserted into it.

The end.
