One tip/suggestion...when chosing the color for email/background, is it possible to have all the colors show up in one big block or 2? Instead of having to scroll down thru the list and then decide you want the color at the top and have to scroll back up? My example would be when picking a color out in Windows, say for the paint program.

Default File Shortcut

Hey All,

I'm running a registered copy of BBSmart and I noticed that most of the shortcuts work except for the File (l) shortcut. I'm running the software on a Pearl and when I press, what I assume to be, the L key, I just get a Reply message. It's the same as when I press the Q button. Is this just a bug that will eventually be fixed, or am I pressing the wrong key and what I assume to be an L is really some other letter? This may have been covered already but the search function gave me some threads to look over but none of them seemed to cover this feature.

The I ("eye") shortcut works correctly on my 8703e (OS v4.1), but only for messages received or sent using the BES (as designed, since their are no folders for BIS messages [RIM limitation]). Hope this matches what you are seeing...

Since I'm using a Pearl, I have no I key. With a SureType keyboard I have a UI key. So, it would require a "double-tap", besides which it doesn't work that way and wouldn't be considered a shortcut. Thanks for responding. I do have a BES account.

Sorry -- I forget all about Suretype as I have never used a Suretype device.

Hi,

Sorry about the delay!

What cfjacksn is reporting is a bug. For SureType devices, the I (eye) key shortcut to file a message does not work.

Do SureType devices have a shortcut key in the default email client for filing a message?

The manual for my Pearl shows no such shortcut on the default email client.
