Default Best Screen protector for Bold 9700!?

Please Login to Remove!

I know you guys are going to say "Zagg Invisivble shield"...
Its a great product and its good at what it does...I had it on my 8900
since day one...But the thing I didn't like about it was the orange peal affect...
and I had a pro at wirelesstoyz put it on for me...so it was flawless 0 bubbles...but the orange peel affect was still horrible in certain lighting...
I love the fact that the screen protector was sratch resistant... But its just preference, every time i would show my 8900 to my friends they would always think the screen is fake or something messed up happened to it...

I just want something that is clear! something that will not mess with the beautiful display of the 9700...something that is easy to apply...and most importantly something that will go with the flow of the 9700's screen...because on the side they have the bevel part...

anyways give me your opintion...thanks...(not hating on Zagg, but if they somehow can get rid of that orange peel texture I would love it.)

A lot of people are saying Zag is bad for the 9700.

Noodle22: See in this photo how it has that texture that looks like an orange peel...wells its pretty bad on certain lighting... specially out in the sun..

Zerog46: yeah I've heard the same, because on the 9700 the screen is not all one flat surface like the tour and curve...

Ahh, I get what you mean, the dimpled effect.

Why don't you just go for a case that does not cover the screen? It would be dificult to find something of good quality that looks good as well. I wouldn't mind the Zagg ones myself (was going to buy one but had trouble with checkout).

Have you searched existing threads? I know there are options that don't have that texture but I can't recall any off the top of my head as I prefer the IS (doesn't matter what my friends think of my screen).

I find that the from http://www.clarivue.com is very good and meets all your requirements...

I used the Ultra-Clear... You can't even tell the phone has one on! It also comes with two, which is a bonus...

http://www.clarivue.com/blackberry-9...protector.html

I have it on my 9000 Bold for over a year, and the screen is still mint!

Google search BEST SKINS EVER. Very inexpensive compared to ZAGG.

Make sure to read their how-to article for proper application. I purchased the 9" x 3.25" sheet, so i have plenty extras. you can also buy pre-cut pieces as well.
