Cant sync my device with outlook when trying to perform a two way sync. I'm thinking a file in the outlook is corrupt and causing the sync to stop midway and produce an error. Has anyone experienced this ?

What is the error message?

What OS on the PC? What version of Outlook? What version of DM?

Are you using an 8700 or a 9700? If a 9700, please update your profile to reflect the current BB. That helps when you have problems.

PC OS is Win 7 Pro. Outlook is 2007 and the DM is 5.0.1. Device is a 9700.
I found a thread about attachements causing problems and have deleted any photos that were attached to the contacts. Tried to sync but got the same error.

Is there a specfic error message or record number that it stops on?

Try a battery pull on the BB and see if that does anything.

Are you, by any chance, using a 64 bit OS and 64 bit version of MS Office? DM doesn't currently work with 64 bit versions.

You could try Google contact sync however. That should work.

Just fixed it !! Found an entry in that same thread that referred to the DM log. There was one entry it "ignored". I deleted that one contact and then ran the sync and it worked.
