Ok, I know I am an idiot and new to the whole BB thing. But, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to transfer my BB pics to my computer. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Assuming you have the USB you can go into "My Computer" and see the Blackberry as drives. Look around in there and depending where you put the pics they will either be in the "media card memory" or "device memory" Just copy them over.

2nd option is the "Desktop Manager" that came with the phone, it has a media program from Roxie, Ive grown to hate it myself and seams to take longer and longer with each use.

And the long way would be to click each pic and then the BB button, chose email picture and send each one to your self via email.

Probably more ways too,

The pics folder does not show up when connected via USB, but video and audio files do...
The Media Manager is blanked out as if it is not available. Is there a problem with my software?
Lastly, I have been e-mailing them and it sucks the most! Thanks.

I know my USB has had times it took longer to load, there should be 2 drives shown. 1 is right away, the other after it reads the card.

For Media Manager may be try reinstalling it, or call into support on that because it should be pretty quick. Until you use the Roxie program then your cussin.

There is also 2 free utilities out there.

Crackutil and Crack mem. I dont know alot about them but they are supposed to give more work around to the default stuff. There are also big red warnings that it can mess up your BB good if used wrong.

Wirelessly posted (VZW Storm, ATT Bold)

To view your card via usb you need to enable mass storage on your bb.

Options-memory-mass storage on

3rd option (in fact, what I use the most) is using bluetooth transfer (if you have bluetooth in your computer, that is)

I see this quite a bit, never had thought I wanted/needed. but now thinking it could be handy.

Would something like this do it?

Does it also matter what head set you have?

Thanks in advance ...

Default Roxio............HATE IT

please can someone tell me what the problem is with Roxio media manager and why it takes FOREVER to even move around in it. I HATE THIS SOFTWARE!! I see on here where others have enabled transfer via usb for pictures. Just to say I have done this now by dragging and dropping my photos/music/ringtones into the right blackberry files and it works like a dream. I will NEVER use that Roxio again. Hope this helps someone.

I believe that would do the trick, if you don't have bluetooth integrated in your computer.
I personally find a lot quicker to transfer things, thus the transfer speed is slower.
If you want to transfer photos or documents it's allright
For movies, better with usb cable
