Found a bug ... Or Maybe just a bussiness logic issue with the BES synchronization. Okay, so here it goes ...
I have contacts with multiple email addresses. On the Blackberry they show up as different email addresses which is great. One of my contacts no longer used the first email address. (the first email address shows up when you open up a contact in Outlook)
So on the blackberry I deleted the first e-mail address. In Outlook it did just the same which is correct. The only problem is, in Outlook there is a "Display Name" associated with the e-mail address. This display name didn't move over with the email address. Instead the old Display Name stayed.
So here is how it started:
Outlook --
Email:
Display Name: John Doe (John.Doe@Domain.com)
Email 2:
Display Name: John Doe (John@yahoo.com)
On the BB --
Email:
Email:
__________________________________________________ __________
I removed the first Email address from the list on the BB and BES sync'd this up to Outlook.
Now here is what it looks like in Outlook:
Outlook --
Email:
Display Name: John Doe (John.Doe@Domain.com)
Email 2: <empty>
Display Name: John Doe (John@yahoo.com)
On the BB --
Email:
Anyone know how I can report this issue to Blackberry?
