I have searched the topic in your forum, and I have got an example on, how to enable autorun on the application, as well as how to display popups in such applications. I used the autorun on the UiApplication.

I used in the NetBeans app properties to edit in the JAD:

RIM-MIDlet-Flags-1: 5 
RIM-MIDlet-Position: 5

Problems I am facing:

The first Screen of app does not shows up, even though the app is started.
I open the app by myself, but now the screen minimizes (requestBackground()) but app does not terminate.

I want:

• the screen to show up as soon as the device starts after the shut down.
• to terminate the application (System.exit(0), or super.close() on the screen).

Please can I have the explanation for such behavior of application after the auto run? Can I have the problem solved ?

Ok, what I have done is that:
I have implemented a GlobalEventListener in my UiApplication and I have another Application which is opening in the Autorun mode.
I post an event in my Application in a TimerTask extended class using timer it executes after some time at fixed rate (scheduleAtFixedRate).
The UiApplication traps the fired event and the dialog box is displayed.
Please check the warning that the dialog box is [attempted to push to screen while] already displayed
