You need to check out the Comfort Cradle by Bury. Do a Google search for it, as I cannot see it yet on Bury's website.

The Storm slides in to the cradle from the right-hand side, and automatically connects to the USB port on the left-hand side of the phone.

I had one of these for my 8830, and they're great.

i suppose someone could modify the standard base dock to mount in the car.

i ended up using an ipod holder i had (storm fits perfectly) and cutting slots in the side for clearance on the buttons and for the charger.

It looks as if the Comfort Cradle by Bury does it. Can anyone confirm?

One way or another, there will be proper mounts for the Storm. There are too many of them out there for the accessory manufacturers to ignore. 73
