What do you have running ? And do you exit out of applications from their menu or just exit out of them by using the BB back key ?

I agree with Bulgaro. You probably have something running in background. Do a batery pull. It will fix the problem for the short run. If the problem persists then you want to consider disabling the event log. This is a memory hog. You should, at the minimum clear it. If you have not been having other problems, this should be all that is necessary to straighten you out. 73

Hudres,

I am familiar with clearing the memory log, but how do you disable it??

It is a myth that it can be disabled.

You can alter the filter so it won't show everything, but it still records it.

If you open the "Help Page" when it happens again, what is your uptime when you have that low memory? (Hold escape button then click upper corners in l-r-l-r sequence.)

I've never had a Blackberry which didn't require a battery pull once in a while (biweekly to monthly is about the best) just to clear everything. It's stupid that the phone can only go in standby using the available onscreen options - even using the "full power off" w/ the icon won't reset the phone.
