Ok. I really love my storm. I am using the 9530 with .76 unlocked on t-mobile.

Is it me or does the screen switch from portrait to landscape way to easily! Seriously though, I will pick up my berry and the slightest tilt to the left or right and there it goes, switching to landscape. I can understand if it would switch back to portrait at the same pace, but it takes up to 4 or 5 seconds to switch back...and then again, and again...

Does your 95xx do this? Is there a fix to alter the sensitvity of the accelermetor?

Thanks,
Scott

I find mine has to pass the 45 degree angle before switching. So no, I don't have that problem. It also switches back at the same speed. :\

My Storm switches from Portrait>Landscape>Portrait as expected. With older OS revisions, the speed was much slower, then again, so were most of the applications.

The accelerometer sensitivity is coded in the OS, and so far there is no talk of creating a User Interface to adjust it. When you say "the screen switches from Portrait to Landscape way too easily", this is by design. Most folks complained that it takes too long for the screen orientation to change between Portrait and Landscape.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. I guess I got so use to using my pearl that SURETYPE is my favorite now instead of the full QWERTY, so most would complain about the opposite.

Well, I'll wait for some coding to be realeased in the future, I guess.

Thanks,
Scott

I find it most annoying.
Most of the switches are unnecessary. I wish someone comes up with an idea to stop this

I think I read somewhere that a firmware update will fix the switching problem. Lets hope soon enough though. I personally like the qwerty.
