Hi all,

I'm trying to create a new Software Configuration using the v219 files for the 7290 from Cingular. I've run the installer and verified the files in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\shared\7290-v4XXXXX. I have also run the "loader /reindex" from the apploader directory.

My problem is that the new software shows up under Software Configurations, but when you try and expand the "+" to show the individual components, the list is blank.

Anyone else run into this?

If you have a support contract with RIM, give 'em a call and I believe they can provide a utility to which can repair the alx files.

Under the folder Shared create a folder called Applications, and put your app folders in there.
ie: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Applications\7290-v4XXXXX

When indexed or reindexed properely, you should have a pkg and xml file in each of the subfolders (ie: 7290-v4XXXXX)

Make sure to actually share out the folder Research in Motion, but I think you've already done that otherwise I don't think you would have gotten what you got.
