Default Uma Again! :/

Please Login to Remove!

This is killing me. I posted about this problem recently in the general (woops) forum.

My blackberry is now intermittently disconnecting from UMA, and just sits there forever saying it is "searching for network".

On the one hand when I investigate that network (my wireless), it says its connected, but it realy isnt. Initially I fixed this (the first time), by searching for "available networks", which kept timing out, but I realized it was saying UMA in the top corner as it was searching, so I stoped the next search in the middle of it, and it stayed on UMA...

Now when I try that I cant even find the option to search for these available networks....!

When I troubleshoot, it says under VPN that my VPN profile is not found.

Why in the world is this phone suddenly not connecting to my UMA.

Btw, I have no reception where I live (remote) so I get all texts through the wireless. No UMA, no communication . Frustrating!

Have you rebooted your router?

Lol did you ask me that last time? No. Do you think it would help in this case? I have satellite internet so it takes forever.

It helped me when I lost UMA on the 9700.
Of course with the 9900 UMA doesn't work yet...

what id like to know is where in the hell that "search for available networks" option is...

Id swear it was under manage connections> set up wifi>

but now when I do that I simply get "other ways to connect" and "saved wifi networks"
