If you have not already, since it is a Nokia you should probably contact them and see if they can help you. If anyone could they would be the only ones that would know how. I say this because, you started this thread on the 9th and it is now the 14th. I understand that it hasn't been too long but almost 90% of the members are very well rounded/versed in wireless technology especially dealing with Blackberry devices and services. If there IS a answer you would have had over 10 people participating in this post already and that's an AVERAGE post response.

Yes it does work.
For everyone's information, the Nokia 6822 DOES support blackberry. I have been using the phone with the blackberry service thru T-Mobile for several months. I wasted alot of time initially trying to figure out how to get the BB working on it. T-Mobile does not support 6822, but their BB service does work with the phone.
The problem is SOME 6822s come with the BB client built in, and other 6822s don't. It depends on where you bought it. I bought my first one directly from Nokia, and it did not ship with the bb client. NokiaUSA will not support bb on it, and they don't have a clue. However, after further research, I found a 6822 on eBay that DOES have the bb client, and I have been successfully using that one for several months.
As for the setup, I don't have an immediate answer. I just reset mine and now I have to re-find the answer to that question too (it has been awhile). It is either going to come from settings sent to the phone by T-Mobile, or with the software configuration tool.
Now, I do not recall whether my first one (the non-enabled 6822) had BB in the menu options. It might have, but I don't think so. I think if you have BB menu options, then your phone is likely to have the BB client built-in. The software CD that shipped with mine has a BB configuration tool. If your software does not mention BB, then you probably don't have the bb-enabled one.
P.S. -- mine is not an Asian model, and you need not buy an Asian model to get the BB feature to work. Mine is a North American model. Some ebay ads will be clear that theirs are non-Asian too, and that they do work with BB.
