Default PLANTRONICS EXPLORER 320 w/ 8700g! pics

This is one of the best headsets ever. It syncs with just the push of a button and it connects immediately. I previously had motorola headsets, and this one in terms of sound quality, charge time and talk time is much better.
It charges fully in just 20 minutes and I got a weeks worth of use out of her, before the need-charge light came on. It gives about 8 hours of solid talk time and about a week of stand by time. Sound quality was really good and fit was also comfortable and light. As you can see from the pictures it also looks classy and matched my 8700g brilliantly!

The only complaint is that the blue, red and purple indicator lights are very dim and near impossible to see in the sun. Then again if you don't like the blinking blue light this could be a plus for you. Me, I like the blinking bluelight and I like my blue light to be bright so people can see I'm not talking to myself but that I'm on the phone.

I give this headset 5 out of 5 stars!

I had a Motorola HS850 and the Plantronics 320 is much better in the noisy environments that I am in. The volume is better because the ear piece fits into your ear, and the people I speak with say the noise cancellation is is superior to the Motorola.

That 645 is hot stuff! How's that 8700G working out for you? I'm counting the minutes until I get mine...

Thanks for the review. You haven't had any problems with the Plantronics giving the person your talking to an echo of themselves on their end have you? I just ordered it a couple minutes ago after having the above problem with the POS Moto H500....

I considered the 320 but it has no volume adjustment and I read reviews saying its not loud enough.

Default Fake Discovery?

As an authorized reseller, we are not getting this until mid of this month.

I can't help but noticed your photos doesn't have that logo (as my attached photo indicates), indicating that it is OEM Discovery.

Could I be the one selling the fake one then?

There are tons of them (645) available on Ebay.

It looks like delmarco posted some images directly off Ebay. The images are probably of the 640 (without the logo.)

hmmm.. 640? could be?

Just really find it strange that's all. Another authorized dealer of Plantronics asked me the same question .. this person carries only Plantronics and actually called the manufacturer and was told to confirm that it has not been released.

*shrugs*

If somebody did purchase one off of ebay and can show that 645 logo, I would definitely appreciate it

It has volume adjustment.

I got a 320 a few days ago, it's my first headset so can't really compare it to anything, but have had no echoing problems from either end, other end users said they can hear me fine and it worked well till about ~12ft away from my BB.

Only thing that I didn't like was the end of the earpiece that goes into your ear, was pretty irritating and would hurt my ear after having it on for ~10-15 minutes...but I cut it down and filed it smooth and it doesn't heart at all anymore, and still sounds the same.

My bad, I thought I read somewhere that the volume was un-adjustable. Sorry for the mis-information.

I purchased the Plantronics Explorer 320 yesterday to use with my 7290, and so far it's been great! I previously had the Motorola HS850 but returned it after not being able to hear much while I was on the road. Good stuff, the Explorer.

I have to agree - in the past week I've tried 5 headsets, including the H700, which I found sounded very static-y. The 320 has been the best headset I've found so far. I just wish it used the same charging connection as the BB.

How is the outgoing quality of the 320? I like my 640 form factor, but I get some complaints of sounding robotic & muffled.

that is actually my 640 that I sold on ebay, before buying the 645.
The 640 does not have the logo, but the 645 does have the logo.
I don't know why.

and my 640 was real since I bought it from J and R Music World in NYC.
