Default BES 4.0 Install problem regarding MSDE

Please Login to Remove!

I have two servers that I could install BES to. One of them is the Exchange server, so I was hoping to avoid that. However, the other server, which is their file/print server, already has an MSDE database installed for BackupExec.

The installer sees the service already running, but doesn't seem to install the necessary database/tables. Is there a way to do it manually?

If I can't get around the database issue, is installing BES to the Exchange server a bad idea or will it work? This is a small office, with only five BB users (with no future expansion.)

TIA

Answered my own question. There is a database directory on the BES 4 CD where a database loader is located. Edit the config file and it'll create the database for you.
