Default OTA + Run

Please Login to Remove!

I am wondering how to download the application over the air AND then run the application just after that without user intervention. Please anyone!!

Do i have to implement any Push Registry for this? My build is properly 'signed'.

Wirelessly posted (blackjack IV)

I think it will always ask if user wants to run!

Thanks for the reply.

Confirmation from User is Ok for me. So, you are saying that after download it will start automatically and ask the user to continue or not.

"OK" & "Run"?

I tried following "http://www.berryquery.com/" website and click on "OTA download" it displayed to me "Download" or "Cancel".

After that "Successfully Installed" appeared and finally i got only "OK" option. No "Run" option to start the applicaion. some how do i have to enable this option in my application?

You've got me there. I always get the ok/run option. Try to download googletalk and you should see what I mean.

Although I didn't find the link for googletalk but i tried another url that is GoTalkMobile - A Google Talk client for J2ME cell phones! and it shows exactly what you are saying that is "OK" & "Run".

So far so good, thanks for you to leading me upto that point. Now can you suggest that its a default behaviour or i have to do something to enable this option. As you have seen that berryquery didn't show this "OK" & "Run".

There's no setting on the blackberry itself. As far as the programming goes, I have no idea.
