Unhappy Unknown Mail Server

Please Login to Remove!

I have one user (out of about 120) who is able to activate her account with no problems. The BES (4.1.2.20) shows her PIN and a running status, however she does not get any email coming across. Her mailbox is correct, but the Mail Server entry is blank. I have run a repair on her GroupWise account and found some errors, deleted her from the BES, wiped the device, reset her account and set the password. It activates with no problems, but still does not put the Mail Server entry in. I've been looking for answers to this all day and have not been able to find anything to help. Any ideas? TIA

What happens when she sends to herself using the device?

The device will send email, and it shows up in the sent items folder from the desktop client. It does not show up on the device itself.

In GroupWise, was the Mailbox icon dragged to another location? BES expects the mailbox icon to be at the root (child of the globe icon).

I've had a few users who made themselves quite at home and rearranged the folders to their liking.

No, it is in the root. I've gotten in touch with Blackberry and sent them the repair logs for the user's account and am waiting to hear back from them, but any other suggestions are greatly appreciate in the mean time.

Update: Upgraded BES to 4.1.3.16 and upgraded GroupWise Client on BES to 6.5.7 (11/6/2006) and problem was resolved
