Looks like you're running the version designed for the 8130 Pearl.
Are you sure you installed the right one? We have plenty of 8330s and none of them ever looked like that.

I currently have a Storm. I'm considering dumping it though, and going back to the Curve (long story).

But I saw that picture in a review and thought... that doesn't look right at all.

My VZ Nav on my 8330 does not look like that. What version do you have? I have 4.1.0 build 120. I just checked for updates and it says I have the latest version.

Try a battery pull and see if that fixes it.

I haven't owned a Curve with Verizon before, but I may well very soon because this Storm I have now is really leaving an awful taste in my mouth.

Thanks for confirming that the picture I posted is not an accurate representation of VZ Navigator on the 8330.

I feel better now.

(I'll feel a lot better when I get rid of this crappy battery life and memory leaking device I currently have LOL)

Or you could wait until the 9630 (Tour) comes out, which is reportedly going to be mid-July.
