Default Error 404 Ap Center

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone!

After all my failed attempts to try solving this problem, I said joining the forum might be the best idea.

Whenever I access the application Center on my Curve 9300, I get the 404 error message.
I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app center, but it failed.
I tried removing google talk, it failed.
I have also installed yahoo messenger, and I can't seem to find it in my applications, so I can't access it.
When I access the third party apps, the list is empty.

I have updated to OS6 recently, it was the official update, no leak.
I'm also registered to the wireless network, which is the solution I found on the BB website, but it changed nothing.

Any ideas please???

Thanks in advance,
Hass.

I assume that you have a BB data plan.

Have you tried a battery pull? resent service books?

Did you install the S 6 version of App World?

Definition of Error 404: "The Error 404 "Page not found" is the error page displayed whenever someone asks for a page thatxxx8217;s simply not available on your site. The reason for this is that there may be a link on your site that was wrong or the page might have been recently removed from the site. As there is no web page to display, the web server sends a page that simply says "404 Page not found".

The 404 error message is an HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) standard status code. This "Not Found" response code indicates that although the client could communicate to the server, the server could not find what was requested or it was configured not to fulfill the request."

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried a battery pull several times and it did nothing.
How do I resend service books? And what's a data plan? Excuse my ignorance, but I'm new too the BB world.

OS has been upgraded through the blackberry desktop software on my pc.

Maybe this will explain the data plan: What do I need a Data Plan for? - BlackBerryFAQ

Okay, then I do have a data plan.
Since I have mail, internet and all the services.

It's really weird, now I noticed that even when I install a theme, I can't see it.
Same with all the applications!
