Exclamation My BB reboots only halfway and then starts again.. What to do

i tried to download a new app and then suddenly shut down, now it only reboots halfway and happens again and again.

See if you can boot in safe mode.

KB17877-How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode

If you can boot in safe mode, delete the app and then do a hard reset (battery pull).

If you can't boot in safe mode or deleting the app doesn't fix the problem, see the following link at the FAQ.

the download did not complete , but the phone dsnt open only so how do I dlt the app ... i have taken out the battery for the time being ... hoping for it to switch back on ...

If you can boot in safe mode ...

You can see if the app you were downloading is in fact installed. If so delete it.

If the app doesn't show as installed, you can at least do a full backup before you go to step 2.
