Default Saving Contact

Please Login to Remove!

This may be a crazy question but I was asked and didn't know the answer...
when saving a new contact from your call log is there a way to NOT make it automatically save the number in the work number field.

No, the work field is the default setting for BB's. To the best of my knowledge (not saying much!) it's not editable as the default.

Default Adding Contact?

Similar question, can you add a new number from the call log to an existing contact without going through the "cut and paste" routine?
When I click on "add Contact" it always opens up in a new contact, but sometimes i want to add them as an additional number for an existing contact.

From of the lack of replies...i will assume the answer to the questions is no. Would be nice though to be able to add a number to an existing contact.

I have not found a way to do this without adding a new contact.

He said "not found a way." That is his secret!

No way to add a number to an existing contact. Just have to choose the Copy number option and then go to contacts and add it to the one you want.

Nokia too. When you get a call from a new number you can choose to create a new contact or update an existing one. Spiffing feature.
