Default 8830 and Vz Access Manager

Please Login to Remove!

One of my friends, [yes the others mods don't think this is possible, but with a good pocketbook, I assure you it is], has an 8830 that he can't get working with VZ Access Manager.

I am trying to help but don't have VZ. If any of you have had issues and then were able to troubleshoot them, can you please advise how you did it.

No problems using the 8830 with VZ Access Manager noticed by any of the 4 people in my organization that have that device.

Just make sure the user has the correct version of VZ Access Manager. I recommend using the one that came with the 8830.
Using an earlier version of VZ Access Manager... such as those that came with the 7130e, or 8703e will most likely not work.

I use Vista and if you are loading it on you need to do it as an administrator. That's the only problem I have had.

We've seen the pictures with dog's best friend.

How much could a milkbone cost?

Are you sure that the user as the tether plan enabled? The 8830 I tested with the VZAccess Manager worked just fine for me. I just installed the Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2 first, started it up, then installed the VZAccess Manager, and viola, just worked.
