I have installed BB maps 3 times. The icon keeps disappeareing ? Spoke to the (Tech) @ AT&T was told I was being transfered to BB, Don't think it was. Anyways I was told that there is a suppresor on the Torch blocking me from useing BB maps. If so how do I get around this because one reason I don't have a I phone is I don't like being told what I can and can't run on my phone. I am under my 30 days so I can get out of my contract. If this is true how can I get around this. I can search for the app and find it and it is working,I just don't want to search everytime I want to use it. Please advise

AT&T hides BBMaps since they want you to use their telenav.

Try GoogleMaps. Works as well if not better IMHO.

They want me to PAY to use telenav.... One more reason Im considering leaving AT&T... Also since I got the Torch I have seen just one App that I know of, Flight Control is the name of the App.. Its a game where you are flight control tower trying to make all planes land safely. My Brother in law is a Pilot for Vigin Air. So I bought it.. I paid 2.99 For it on Blackberry App world.. ATT App Center has the EXACT SAME GAME for 5.99... Thats just being GREEDY I feel.

Does Anyone know how to unhide the BB Maps icon ?? Google Mapd and Yahoo are good choices... It is just the point that ATT is trying to force me to BUY/PAY one of theier apps. I already pay them to much

^^ He says it all I work for Rogers BB and I even tell people to get Google maps, better graphically and i find it more accurate when using
