9550 Hands down. I'm really surprised that Verizon hasn't marketed this phone more. This is the best blackberry yet and a very easy transition from the 8330

Some would argue that the 9700 is the best BlackBerry yet, but it's very subjective.

I see network and cable television ads daily, and during the top-ranked weekend football games. Seems a pretty good bit of marketing, too me.

Speaking for yourself only, of course.

Guess I got a little over excited. I'm having a lot of fun with the storm 2 though

I went from the Strom 2 to the 9700 and seriously thinking of getting the Storm 2 back. The only thing that differentiates the 9700 is the good battery life. Otherwise it's a 3G Curve that gets over-hyped praise.

I changed to the Storm because of the speed of dailing and typing but now using the tiny screen and having to move a cursor around instead of just pressing the option I need is slowing me down in a different way.

Maybe I need to give the touch screen typing another go....

The Storm2 is the better device. It has more application memory and WIFI.

storm 2 has 2 gigs internal memory, vs. 256 megs for other models. the only thing holding me back is losing the trackball. but given the problems i think i am easily being pursuaded to make the leap. 8330 to s2. although i'm really kicking myself for not buying last weekend. when it was on sale for a penny through amazon. but that 2 - 4 week shipping didn't exactly thrill me. i'm not a big fan of waiting.

Wal-mart had a deal a few weeks ago also. They had the s2 for 148 and then immediately upon purchase you get a 100 dollar Wal-mart gift card. I heard they were going to run the sale again about a week before christmas.
