Default BES Architecture - Segmented Network

Please Login to Remove!

Implementing a new BES environment in a segmented network using this document found on the BB main website.

solutions/resources/Placing_the_BlackBerry_Enterprise_Solution_in_a_Se gmented_Network.pdf

1. I am planning to have separate servers for Attachment, Admin, Router, MDS and BES. Where do the other components get installed in the document (Manager Service, Policy Service, Sync Service)

2. Where the document lists ports - e.g. Attachment Service In/Out Port 1900 - if the Attachment components are all installed on a single Attachment server, do these ports need to be open at all i.e. it doesn't seem that the service communicated with any other external components such as Attachment.

3. Any good documentation to show traffic flow between components?
