I am taking some things down so i want to just pull all my address down on my blackberry for the little time that i will not be able to access the ad

By 'ad' you mean Active Directory? As in the GAL (Global Address List)?

I've found that using the Lookup option from the Address Book menu allows my users to add GAL entries to their local Address Book (which will then synch to Outlook Contacts).

Once the Lookup search results are displayed, you can select the person and choose Add from the menu to have them permanently added to your address list.

Hope this helps!

You can import the excel file right into Outlook (might actually have to save it as a .csv first), which will then sync with your device....just have to know the column names and use the Import wizard in Outlook.

*nods* yep - what the BBBA said!

I read your first post as asking how to get the addresses at the handheld:

rather than how to dump them en masse to Outlook Contacts at the desktop ;)
