Default Remove Facebook without installing

Please Login to Remove!

I want to get Facebook off my Curve. It appears on the desktop but does not appear as an installed app in Options -> Advanced -> Applications. I know I can run the Facebook setup, and then uninstall it, but the last time I tried that, it came back a few days later, and I had to install, then uninstall it.

Evidently, the icon on the desktop is the Facebook setup icon, and I want to get rid of it.

How?

Note that it will come back the next time the service books are pushed to the phone. Just hide it when that happens.

Yeah.. you are right. I donno it is true or not but carriers are not able to push these services books for beta OS's. I had the .81 from TMobile and I used to get those icons but after I have upgraded to .102 I have stopped getting those icons after every restart.
