I am an avid user of mgmaps (Mobile GMaps - View maps from various sources on your mobile phone!) which lets you download maps from google and view them offline on your phone, navigation and also uploads your location to the internet.

Since last Tuesday afternoon, I am getting login error when I try to upload my location to the internet on my curve 8310. I have not changed any settings on my Blackberry or the app. My friend who has a Pearl is also having the exact same problem. We are both on T-Mobile.

I put my sim card in a Nokia 6680 and used the app. This works fine and uploads my location to the internet with no login errors.

So the problem seems to be with Blackberry.

Does anyone else use this app? Is it working for you? Is it T-Mobile specific error? Or have Blackberry made an update which has done something?

I love this program and am devastated it has stopped uploading my location as this is on of my favorite features!

Does the gps refresh satellites at Options > Advanced > GPS > Menu > Refresh?

Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough.

My gps works fine. I can search for locations, see where I am, download maps etc. The only thing that has stopped working is that it no longer allowing me to login to upload my location to the internet. This is on my Curve and on my friends Pearl. It's like Blackberry have blocked a port that this app uses since the app works fine with my sim card in a Nokia phone.

Does anyone else use this app who can try?
