So I have the torch and just downloaded the new app Blackberry travel.

So the for the app, you enter all your tip details (flight #, confirmation numbers, hotels, car rental). Anyways, the app send you automatically updates on the flight status, if it delayed, cancelled...

Here is my problem.

I always travel down south and Europe. I use BBM a lot, therefore I never turn off my DATA roaming.

So how to I turn it off for this app only? I dont want to receive updates but I want to be able to still use the APP so I can have all my needed info handy.

you can adjust how the program sends updates from the options menu.

thats my problem, I dont want it to send me automatic updates...

I just downloaded this app this morning. I like that it imports itinerary details from recieved emails so I don't have to hand load in trip details. Open the app, hit the BB button to get the menu, go to settings and then scroll down to Flight reminder. It gives you a Yes or No option. I haven't tried it but try setting it to No and see how it works. Good luck
