Hello everyone,
I have a question about the blue thooth icon on the screen of my BB7290.
Yesterday I was playing with the Blue Thooth function and I added some other phones to try the Blue Thooth functionality. Then suddenly there was a Blue Thooth icon on my start screen next to the of switch icon.
I really dont understand how it gets there and I also dont know how I can get rid of it again. I almost never use the Blue Thooth so hopefully someone can tell me how to hide or delete this blue thooth icon.

options and turn it off by disabling it the icon will go away

Sorry, but have tried that a several times but that wont help... the icon just wont go away.

pull the battery out and try a soft reset

just disabling the BT function will not have the BT icon disappear from the home screen.

You must have paired the device with another BT device.

1) goto options/BT
2) enable BT (if it's disabled)
3) delete the paired device
4) disabled BT
5) save

you will now notice that the BT icon on the home screen is gone.
