I want know if I can use the TMO Wifi BBCurve as a Tethered Modem while at a TMO Hotspot like Starbucks, Kinkos, etc. Will it work over Wifi with your laptop tethered?

Anybody actually tried and proved it one way or the other?

Yes, it can be done. Someone used the 8320 as a tethered modem for the laptop and they was able to get high speed connection.

It won't be as good as your laptop getting Wi Fi but it will work.

Just make sure you have H @ H added to your plan.

Do you really need it though? I don't know. I am trying to find out.
