Hi,
I recently bought curve 8520. I am looking for some answers for below mentioned problems. I am using windows 7 on my laptop and use outlook 2007.

1. I am not able to synch my calender and tasks. When I reach the synchronise page, desktop manager doesnt recognize outlook installed and doesnt give me any option to synchronize. I think the desktop manager does not support windows 7. as same setup ran perfectly on XP.
2. How do I get google email contact list on my BB?
3. How do I upgrade my current OS ( 4.6) to the latest one? ( Which is the most latest one that is compatible to Indian phones)
4. Does skype work on BB on a BIS plan? I do not have a full BES plan.

1. Desktop Manager does support Windows 7. However, it doesnt support Outlook Beta 2010; and earlier than 2000 (poss. 2002) versions of Outlook.
2.Use google Sync app
3. Any OS is compatible for the device its made for. Go to the 8500 device forum and find the stickied thread regarding OS.
4.There is no skype for blackberry except on Verizon (US) phones.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

I think desktop manager does support outlook 2007 but it fails to support windows 7. I tried same setup ( 8520 + outlook 2007) on xp. It worked really well. Can you suggest something on this?
Also how do you use google synch to get my outlook meetings and tasks to my BB?
Can you explain in a bit more detail?

Firstly, I KNOW it works on windows 7....Ive used it.

You didn't mention how do you use google synch to get my outlook meetings and tasks to my BB? and I don't know.
