I have a BB Bold 9650 that I have to turn in to my employer in a few weeks. I have about 200 contacts that I would like to save or even print out. What is the best way to do that?

You can use BlackBerry Desktop Software and the Switch Devices wizard to transfer your contacts onto your new device (if you have it already).

If your employer's IT Policy allows it you can install an online contacts backup app.

Likewise, you can sync your contacts to a GMail account.

I will be without a phone for 2 weeks, so do not have the new one. Also, the new phone will not be a smart phone, so will not have the ability to store contacts. What I would like to do is add the contacts to Outlook or even to the contacts program on my iPad2. Can I use the Gmail method? I do have a Gmail account. If so, how do I start it?

If you have Outlook, then you can use Desktop Manager (downloaded from the RIM web site) to sync your contacts between the BB and Outlook.
