Default POLL: Upgrade to 4.1 ?

Please Login to Remove!

There are so many postings about whether or not to upgrade to 4.1, so I was just wondering how many have actually done it or are planning on doing it.

Most likely wont be upgrading till the first batch of SP's. Would like to get it in by end of July/Aug, but we have alot of hoops to jump through here.

i upgraded a few months ago to the CSL 4.1. most changes were very minor, but some are nice. I am actually waiting on T-Mobile to release my vendor's version of 4.1 to really see what advantages there are (if there are more).

is BES 4.1 stable?

last thing any admin wants is to upgrade to a unstable version.

Yes it's stable. I upgraded about a week after it was out and haven't even rebooted that server since. At the same time I took it from win2k to win2k3 and had some issues restoring db but resolved them all in same day and have been smooth sailing since.

Not available in the UK, well at least if you want it supported by Vodafone, but as soon as it is it will be going on straight away.

I think I'll upgrade when a service pack comes out. I don't think its worth it right now.

On 4.1 and have been for a while now, stable, worth the upgrade if you have the budget. Only issue it the OTA every so often but I'm sure we might see something in SP1 for that.

There are a couple of providers I know of who can supply 4.1 in the UK and have been for nearly a month now.
