I can get 4.7.1 to sync on demand ok (visible as an add-in) as you describe. I was asking if anyone can get it to sync automatically on connection of the BB (as DM will do for media/organiser/time & date, but not add-ins as it used to)

I'm not a Datavault customer. I use eWallet. Been using it for *ages* and have so much info in it that I couldn't imagine switching. Anyway, just to address the subject in the post, eWallet had its add-in sync turned on with DM 6.0 without any special steps required. This problem does seem specific to Datavault. If others have add missing add-in sync with other apps, that might be good to know as well...

I had the same problems as all of the above. I am not a Datavault user either, but an eWallet user, and have been for some time. As kjaslow said above, eWallet makes their software work better with DS 6.0, but I still couldn't get it to work. Then I finally found a note on the illium website that said you need to have eWallet 7.1.1.1 loaded. I had 7.1.1.0... so I downloaded the latest eWallet version, and voila, the Add-Ins button magically appeared under Applications in desktop software 6.0. Thanks to all above for pointing me here.

If you upgrade to the latest version of Datavault you perform a WI-Fi sync, just not as simply as the add-on support was.

Datavault works with DM 6 for me. Only irritation is a DM thing - I can't get it to sync Datavault on every connection (I have to trigger it manually)
