Default screen unresponsive coming out of a lock

Please Login to Remove!

Umm, I've been searching everywhere about this problem and have found no information at all. Maybe it's just me, but I lock my phone a lot since I keep it in the front pocket, and since I upgraded to the new OS (4.7.0.148), once out of every four times, when unlocking my phone after it's been locked, the screen is either partially or completely unresponsive for two minutes or more. I was so excited for the upgrade and then this incredibly silly problem arose. What the hell?!

Did you install any slider/lock type apps such as storm slider? One such interfered with my phone coming out of lock mode until I completely removed it.

I've experienced this due to (1) too many apps open (2) using Google Maps/Latitude (3) Using App World

The Verizon guy said he's never seen/heard anything like this before. Thinks it may just be the unit - since I'm under warranty, getting a new one in a few days.

My phone actually does the same thing..... un lock it and it takes awhile for it to respond to anything... I am running with .148... I also noticed that my camera no longer works with .148 when using it with the conv. key, it will start up, then shut down and restart my whole phone. If I start the camera from the icon menu it works fine.

Which also begs the subject - how on earth can a camera phone take so long to bring up the camera. My storm takes up to 10 seconds for the camera to appear after selecting it.

I too have the issue where the screen is unresponsive after being locked. I have gotted used to using the lock button on the top to make it wake up again. After that the screen is fine for input

Got the new phone - works beautifully. I think my handset must have had some sort of problem. I'm running the same exact apps as before, no problems coming back from lock. don't know why, but I don't care - my phone works.
