I tried logging into the bb protect portal with my mobile browser and got a message like this:

BlackBerry® Protect Web Portal - Browser Requirements

BlackBerry Protect is only supported on the following desktop browsers:

Windows® Internet Explorer® 7, or 8
Mozilla® Firefox® 3.x
Google® Chrome® 4
Apple® Safari® 3, 4, or 5

The BlackBerry Protect web portal is not currently supported on mobile browsers or on Windows Internet Explorer 6.

I would guess RIM expects you to use the Protect application from the mobile device instead of a browser.

Silly if u ask me.if ur bb is lost or stolen u more likely to find someone with a mobile browser before u find a pc. It could make the world of difference
