Hi;

I have BB9790. Normally my BB works well and get pictures without any problem. But some time when I get a picture and camera flashes, BB turns off, LED goes RED and BB restarts. When it restarts,then it works well. It happens twice to three times a day What could be the problem?

grab a pencil and clean off the contacts on battery and on the phone side too, then with a lint free cloth wipe them down and try it again.

The flash does draw a lot so if this does not work you may need a new battery unless you have a defect in the hardware or possibly a corrupted OS.
I would try knotty's suggestion first.
