I upgraded the OS on my 8130 to the latest OS and have MMS capability now. I am on Sprint. Yet it still doesn't work in the traditional manner. I sent myself an mms with a picture to myself. When the message arrived, the mms directed me to a sprint URL (which I had to copy and paste to my browser) which took me to a Sprint picture mail site and I was able to view the picture there.
With other carriers, I used to get the mms with the picture (or other multimedia) in the body of the mms. I read where others say their mms works now. But are you guys that use Sprint getting the message like I am (needing to go to the Sprint site) or are you getting the pic in the body of the mms? If you're getting the mms with the pic embedded in the mms, are you doing something I am missing to get it delivered that way? Thanks. the bone
Welcome to the forums. It comes to me the same way. A link to their site. It is a clickable link, I don't have to copy and paste it. I agree it's not like traditional MMS, but it still works. I can deal with it.
