Default Getting my first BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I'm getting ready to buy my first BB with my new job. I've been doing some reading on this and just want to make sure I have it straight.

I'm looking for GPS, camera, bluetooth and wifi. I don't think there is anything on the market with all these features. So far the closest model is the 8320 (no GPS). Is this right?

The smaller the BB the better so the curve looks pretty good. I think I like the curve keypad better anyway then the perl.

So the 8320 is the most feature rich model?
And - If I want to use wifi for voice I need tmo H@H, otherwise just browsing.

Also - with the wifi - is the BB another device on my home lan? Can I send files/mp3 etc to my BB from my desktop?

Thanks.

8320 - is what you describe. Camera, WiFi, no gps but you can get a Bluetooth puck to add that, easily,. Check out our GPS section with some recommended pucks.

Also, there is a WiFi section here too... ask those questions there after looking at the Sticky Notes and the FAQs (in my signature)

Just out of curiousity, will an unlocked 8320 work with AT&T?

OK. I answered my own question. Next one, are there unlocked 8320's available?

Hey dont forget to check the coverage in your area for the service providers....from the looks of your questions, you're gearing towards ATT, but just in case....

had a friend of mine get the 8320 with tmo and then stupidly forgot to check his coverage which is horrible where he is...

Welcome!

I strongly encourage you to check out the FAQ as a previous poster suggested. Lots of good info there.
